A 20-year-old man from Whitchurch, along with another 39-year-old man of no fixed address, were arrested on suspicion of burglary on Tuesday, September 8th.
The men were arrested after a car was stolen during a burlary in Hereford during the early hours of that same morning. At 2.15am on Southbank Close, offenders entered a property, and stole personal items, and the keys to an Audi Convertible, before making off in the stolen car.
Police stopped the vehicle on the A49 in Leominster at around 3.30am. The two suspects were subequently arrested.
Chief Inspector, Adam Thomas, said: “This was a positive result, in which we were able to quickly locate the vehicle and the suspects. We will continue to tackle burglary offences and advise the public on how they can keep their property safe.”
