A coffee shop at Ross Spur Services was broken into and burgled during the early hours of Sunday morning (July 9th).
Between 2.45am and 3.15am, the coffee shop was broken into; doors to the premises were forced open, which caused damage to both the door and the wall. Two tills were then stolen from the shop.
The stolen tills were recovered a short time later by police. They were found on the A40 dual carraigeway, heading away from Ross towards Monmouth, near to the BP garage.
Police inquiries into this burglary are ongoing. Officers ask that if any members of the public saw or heard anything suspicious in Ross on Saturday evening, or during the early hours of Sunday morning, to please report any details by calling 101 and giving the reference number: 146-S-090717.
