A body found in Herefordshire has been identified as missing man Martin Humphreys

A body found in the River Wye between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye on Thursday, October 12th has been identified as missing man Martin Humphreys.

Martin, 40, was last seen in the Bridge Street area on Monday, October 9th.

Formal identification has taken place and Mr Humphreys next of kin have been informed. Police are not treating the death as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

The family have asked that their privacy be respected at this time.
