West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which left one man needing hospital treatment in the early hours of Sunday, November 24th.
The man believes he was attacked by three or four men at about 12.30am between the Gwalia store and the Aldi store at Brookend, Ross-on-Wye.Inspector James Ashton said: “At approximately 12.50am on Sunday, November 24th police were called to reports of a disorder on Brookend Street. A man had been assaulted and was taken to Hereford County Hospital for medical treatment. As our community would expect an investigation is underway and we’d urge anyone that was in the area at the time, and hasn’t yet spoken to us to get in touch.”Anyone who was in the area in the early hours of Sunday morning and witnessed the assault is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 29s of November 24.
