West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses, after a woman was assaulted in Hereford on Thursday, February 18th.

Between 4pm and 6pm, a woman was walking in the direction of White Cross Road, via an underpass on Victoria Street, when she was assaulted by an unknown man.

The victim sustained injuries to her nose and forehead which required hospital treatment.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5’ 9" tall, of a muscular build with short dark hair.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any information. Please call police on 101, quoting incident 0710-S-180216.
