A farmhouse at Llanrothal, Monmouth, which is being renovated, was broken into sometime between June and Monday, January 2nd.

A wood burner, which is cream and brown in colour, 30in high, 18in wide, with 6/8 small glass windows in the front doors which open outwards. It has a small ash tray at the bottom in the front, and a flue pipe at the rear which is interchangeable with the top. It weighs approximately 50kg and has been removed from the property.

On December 12th, two men in a Y registration, white Ford Transit van, were seen loading an item, which appeared to be a wood burner, into their vehicle. Enquiries are on-going.
