The charity collection at Morrisons last Saturday was a really great success and raised £717 which will benefit my two nominated charities, the Friends of Ross Community Hospital and also SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association).

I would like to thank Morrisons for allowing the collection to take place at their store, and all those involved in helping with the bucket collection and, of course, the people who gave so generously to the charities.

There are some further fundraising functions scheduled which you might like to put in your diary. The Mayor’s Ball will take place on March 11th and there will be a Charity Concert on April 29th.
