Ross Roadies held their 19th Classic and Vintage Vehicle Road Run on Bank Holiday Monday, January 2nd, based at The Yew Tree Inn, Peterstow, near Ross-on-Wye.

There was another good selection of entries despite the bitterly cold weather. The winner of the Les Jenkins Memorial Shield for the Best Presented Tractor was Mr John Pursey with his 1950 Field Marshall. The oldest vehicle attending was a c1911 Napier car, owned and driven by Mr Rob Simpson.

The day’s profits will be donated to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, together with monies raised from the previous two Road Runs, at the Roadies next event on Easter Monday, April 17th. Anyone wishing to join the event, or for further details, please call Colin Davies on 07510 772250 or email [email protected]
