Labels Shopping teamed up with GirlGuiding Herefordshire on Saturday, May 26th, to host a Craft Event as part of their fundraising for a trip to The World Guide Centre in Sangam during August 2019.

The children who attended were able to get creative and make paper flowers and egg box animals, and the event was run by Denise Prothero who, alongside fellow leader Ann-Marie, is organising the fundraising.

Denise explained the improtance of the trip. She said: “This trip will provide the girls with valuable knowledge about Sangam’s culture, and will help the Sangam community due to the work we will do in a local orphanage and old people’s residence.”

The event was a great success, with the Guides managing to raise £30 towards their £3000 target.

Labels Shopping will host another Girlguiding fundraiser at their Vintage Car Show on Sunday, June 17th, and the guides are planning many more fundraisers over the next 12 months.
