MADAM, For the past ten years I have been visiting Ross every year I come to stay with my sister and brother-in-law who own Tudor Sweets.

Each year I get to know Ross a little better and visit local castles and gardens. This year, as a change, my sister has organised a walk around Ross – History with a twist, with Mary Sinclair Powell as our guide. We met in the centre of Ross and for the next two hours, which passed so quickly, we were taken back in time and heard about Kings and Highwaymen, Almshouses to the original Boys School, ghosts and haunted roads and hidden reservoirs. It was a fascinating experience with our guide - a mine of information.

I had no idea that so much history could be seen in such a small area. Well done Mary. I would recommend one of your tours to visitors and locals alike. We have already booked next year's tour.
