A record 72% of students gaining 5+ A*- C grades at GCSE, with an overall pass rate of 97%, followed last week's excellent A Level results at John Kyrle High School and Sixth Form Centre. Over 60% of the cohort gained the all-important five or more A*- C grades including English and Maths, which is another best performance. The school was also very pleased with results in its new target for high ability students with over a third of the year group attaining at least three A*/A grades and over a quarter of all entries being graded at A*- A, both figures well above the national average.
