Donations for the Ross Action Bus Appeal, which is the charity the Ross Gazette has chosen to support as a way of marking the newspaper’s 150th anniversary, have already been pouring into the office. Several of these generous donations have been for quite large amounts of money. However, there is now a really sweet way to make a small donation. Simply buy a packet of the new Ross Gazette Anniversary Mints, from Tudor Sweets, and a donation will be given to the appeal.

Daniel Pearce of Tudor Sweets is supplying the bags of mints which are made by Bray’s of Newport, who have been making sweets since 1867, the same year the Ross Gazette began.

Each bag of mints costs 99p, and for each bag sold, 35p will be donated to the Ross Action Bus Appeal.

The bags of Ross Gazette Anniversary Mints are available now at Tudor Sweets in High Street, Ross-on-Wye and at the Ross Gazette office.
