Dear EditorAs a resident of Ross-on-Wye for over 11 years, I realise with a heavy heart that I no longer feel safe taking my three-year-old son out in the evenings by the river.

On one recent occasion, whilst walking through the swimming pool car park, my son was nearly hit by a youth on a bicycle who had no care for what he did. My wife and I were then berated with foul language by the youth and his friend. I was called a term so disgusting I cannot repeat it.

Oh to feel safe again in our beautiful little town.
