Last weekend marked yet another landmark for the Junior Academy, which had its strongest representation to date at their National Schools regatta.

On Friday the Academy had three competing crews. In their semi Abi And Effie rowed a personal best time finishing 5th. Amy Surman and Ellie Grindle earned a silver medal by three one hundredths of a second (six inches). This is a major medal and is the fifth such achievement this season for the Junior Academy Squad.

On Saturday it was bad luck for Kelly Morris and Rosie Lindley in the WJ16 double sculls when Rosie's stroke-side blade broke in two.

But Ross Juniors emerged victorious in eleven events at Monmouth Sprint Regatta. In the WJ13.4X+. Catrin Morris, Molly Phillips, Emma Richardson, Jess Crossman, coxed by Olivia Baynham-Williams crossed the line with clear water.
