JOHN AND ANNA Constance celebrated their Golden Wedding with a family

dinner at The Chase Hotel. They exchanged gold rings, engraved with their Christian

names, the initials of their sons and daughter and the date.

John is the son of the late Ivan and Audrey Constance of Ross and Anna daughter

of the late Alfred and Adele Hottiger of Basel, Switzerland.

They met just six weeks before Anna was due to return to Switzerland, after

spending 15 months as mother's help to the late Mr and Mrs David Oakeley, of

Biddlestone Orchards, Glewstone.

Recklessly, they were engaged after just two weeks and Anna's parents, not surprisingly,
