Children from the Abacus 2000 Nursery School in Ross-on-Wye, presented a cheque of £75 to the League of Friends on Monday, January 22nd, to provide equipment for Ross Community Hospital.

The Abacus pupils raised the money during a collection after their Christmas concert, “A Busy Robin,” and decided to give the money to the Friends of Ross Community Hospital.

Young Emily presented the cheque to the Chairman of the Friends, Jill Davies, who was delighted and said thank you to all of the children. She said that the money they raised will go towards much needed items for patients in the hospital.

Jill said she will send the Abacus Nursery a letter of thanks, and let them know what the money has been spent on.
