This letter must be one of many you have received this week giving accolades to the Phoenix Theatre Players. Those fortunate enough to see their performance of Anastasia must have found it difficult to believe that the cast, in their characterisation and skills, were not professionals from the West End.

This interpretation of the play, by Marcelle Maurette, due to its excellent stage directions, was superb. Well done everyone at the Phoenix,
