Ross Library and Customer Services, in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, is hosting the first options and choices open morning for lone parents on Wednesday, February 22nd.
From advice about benefits and budgeting, to learning new skills for life, lone parents can speak to a number of representatives from organisations such as Citizen’s Advice, Ross Children’s Centre, Home-Start, the National Careers Service and other local service providers.
There will also be a free craft activity to keep the children entertained, access to the public computers and the opportunity to join the library.
The event will be held on February 22nd between 9.30am and 11.30am at Ross Library and Customer Services, on Cantilupe Road, Ross-on-Wye HR9 7AN.
