A bucket collection was held by volunteers from the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity on Saturday, January 27th, during Hereford FC’s home game against Banbury. They raised a total of £707.

Mary Seldon, Fundraising Manager for the MAAC was delighted with the afternoon. She said: “The afternoon was very worthwhile for us, thank you to Hereford FC for letting us come along. The buckets raised £707 which is brilliant – thank you very much!”

As well as holding a bucket collection, the charity also bought along their ‘helipod’, a former Air Ambulance that was turned into a fun and interactive mobile helicopter shell that provides the closest experience to an air ambulance without the need for the actual one.

“The POD makes so much difference” said Mary, “it’s a great advert and eye catching – children and adults loved it!”
