An elderly woman was taken to Bristol Frenchay Hospital with suspected head injuries following a collision in an Alton Street car park last Friday.

Police in Ross-on-Wye are appealing for witnesses to the collision in which the elderly woman was seriously injured.

The woman was walking in the car park of Bradfords builders' merchants on Alton Street when she was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Fiesta just before 4pm on Friday, May 24th.

PC Richard Pearce is investigating the collision. He said: "We're keen to hear from anyone who visited Bradfords that afternoon and saw any of the vehicles involved either in the car park or on the road outside.

"I would urge anyone with information to contact us on 0300 333 3000 quoting reference 473S 240513."The road was closed for several hours due to the incident.
