Members of staff from an opticians in Ross-on-Wye are focused on a fundraising frenzy.

In the build up to the Easter weekend, Specsavers on Gloucester Road is running competitions to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research.

The store is encouraging children to get creative over the Easter period by asking youngsters to design their own egg. As well as hosting the colouring competition, the team are inviting customers to guess the name of the Easter bunny and, with a twist on the classic game, they are also running a guess how many mini eggs are in the jar competition.

Colouring templates are currently available to pick up in store for youngsters aged six-16 and completed entries should be returned to the store no later than Thursday, March 29th.

The team from Specsavers in Ross-on-Wye are also planning to take part in Wear A Hat Day (March 29th), when they will host a Mad Hatters tea party.

“We are hoping to raise a great total for Brain Tumour Research,” says store director Lee Thomas. “With three competitions, and more fundraising activities to come on the day, it would be great to see our generous local community get behind us.”
