Amey LG Limited has lost the contract to look after Herefordshire's highways for the next ten years.Yesterday afternoon Cllr Harry Bramer, cabinet member for major contracts presented the scoring details of the three shortlisted bidders and announced Balfour Beatty Living Places as the preferred bidder, Amey LG Limited as the reserve bidder and Costain Limited as second reserve bidder.
Work will now be undertaken to conclude the process and award the final contract in early July. Full details will be outlined in July and Balfour Beatty would then take over the services on September 1st.
