I attended Hereford FC Live on Saturday, May 12th, Hereford’s first major music concert in over 47 years; an all day spectacular, starting with the Romanian-born British-based pop duo, ‘The Cheeky Girls’ at 1pm.
British electronic group ‘N-Trance’ followed at 2.30pm, and English boy band ‘Five’ performed at 4pm.
This was followed by the British soul group, ‘The Real Thing’ at 5.30pm, and ‘Midge Ure’ at 7pm.
My highlight was English-born Australian singer, ‘Peter Andre’ who performed at 8.30pm - chuffed to say that he came down to the audience and held my hand!
The American Four Tops then followed at 10pm - with an array of legendary anthems sang with soul. Their harmonies and upbeat choreography had the audience dancing and singing along.
There was a lively atmosphere at the concert, and it was really nice to see so many people supporting a local event. The community spirit was high - and even the security team looked like they were having a great time!
I look forward to this event returning next year.
