Ross residents who live in or near to Tanyard Lane have contacted the Ross Gazette as they feel their wishes are being ignored by Councillors and developers. They are concerned about the use of the narrow, unmade road as the main pedestrian access for new residents of the Persimmon development. One resident, Mrs Green, told the Ross Gazette:?"The fact that the lane is a road and has no pavements is a safety issue for everyone." They are also concerned about the possibility of the residents of the 290 houses planned for the other side of the A40, on foot or on cycles, also being directed over the bypass and down the lane. Mrs Greene said:?"Residents of Ross are being ignored, it is ridiculous." Full report in this week's Gazette.
