The parties putting up candidates for election to the European Parliament on May 22nd have been setting out their stalls on where they stand on both EU?membership and migration. Of the main parties at Westminster, Labour and the Lib Dems are campaigning on the premise that the UK must stay in the European Union. The Conservatives, too, are keen to remain in the EU with the caveats of reform and a referendum. Local Conservative MEP Anthea McIntyre says her views mirror those of the Prime Minister David Cameron. She said: "There are things we want to reform, there are powers we want brought back to member states and decisions that shouldn't be made in Brussels that should be made back here.
