MADAM, The 2011/2012 year for the Poppy Appeal comes to a close in September and the 2012/2013 year commences. The town of Ross-on-Wye has raised nearly £17,000 during the current year with more to come from events and donations which have not yet been recorded. This is a tremendous amount, a sincere thank you to everyone.

We now start preparing for 2012/2013 and urgently need volunteers to assist us and the Poppy Appeal. There is no requirement to be a member of the Royal British Legion.

During Rememberancetide we need people who will collect in their streets and roads from their neighbours and friends all over the town, but in particular the Greytree Area, or can spare a little of their time collecting in our local supermarkets.
