A motocross enthusiast is appealing to fellow fans to help trace his beloved bikes and the tools of his trade after burglars broke into a locked workshop and shed at his home at Much Birch.

They took two orange KTM Enduro motocross bikes valued at £3,500 each and numerous power tools and equipment with a total value of nearly £11,000.The equipment included a Husqvarna chainsaw, a Stihl angle grinder, a Jet JWP thicknesser, a Festool KS120 mitre saw, a Honda petrol generator, a Murex mig welder and an industrial marquee.

Police are appealing for motocross enthusiasts across the country to help trace the two bikes and track down those responsible.

Anyone with information about the burglary and the items stolen is urged to contact PC King-Salter by calling Hereford Police on the non emergency number 101 quoting incident 106s 191213.
