A man had his arm broken during a fight in the Crown and Sceptre on Saturday night.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault which happened at around 11pm on Saturday, March 6th in the Crown and Sceptre public house in Market Place, Ross.

The incident occurred when a verbal argument between two male customers became a physical confrontation. As a result, one man received a cut to his head and a broken arm which has required surgery at hospital.

Another man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently on police bail whilst police make further enquiries into the matter.

Police are anxious to speak to everyone who was in the Crown and Sceptre that night at around 11pm in order to establish exactly what happened.
