Pupils at Walford Primary have been exploring the world this week and celebrating different customs and cultures. Every classroom has been buzzing with excitement as all pupils have used and extended their knowledge and skills in a variety of creative ways.
A creative, 'hands on' approach is integral to the school's belief that children will foster a love of learning and fulfil their potential if they enjoy the process! Louise George, the newly appointed Headteacher, said: "I am privileged to be leading such an amazing school team who work hard to enthuse and motivate our pupils. By relating their learning to real life situations, we aim to ensure that all of our children develop a love of learning, whilst having fun working both independently and cooperatively.
"This exciting, hands-on approach to learning will ensure that every child will be supported to achieve their full potential."
Ms George said that the school was very grateful to all the parents who had supported the event by working with the children, attending the children's performances and sending in a variety of resources for each class to use
