MADAM, I was one of the people who attended the public meeting at the Larruperz Centre in February to discuss the Asset Transfers in Ross. I would like to share my huge disappointment at the outcome.

Whilst at the meeting it was generally agreed that everyone would be happy to pay extra on the Ross Precept part of their Council Tax it was not even hinted at that many street cleansing jobs were under threat.

Had I been aware that my job, and many others, were on the line I would never have agreed to a Council Tax increase.

I would very much appreciate reading any comments in response to this from the local Councillors but due to the situation regarding jobs I wish to withhold my name and address from publication.
