The Asset Transfers are still on track, according to Councillor Chris Bartrum, after a series of meetings involving solicitors for both County and Town Councils.

He told the Ross Gazette that the three car parks have been given back and the Town Council is on course to take over the costs of providing public convenieces in Wye Street and Red Meadow in January. Herefordshire Council is keeping control of the Crofts public toilets as they are on a 100 year lease.

The fine tuning of the details regarding the transfer of the Market House are on going. But Cllr Bartrum said:?"It seems to be back on track."
