Ross residents like to see local events and I would like to remind them that the Bands in The Park free concerts are now on every Sunday 2.30-4.30pm on Wye Street until the end of August. The Town Council permit charities to take collections and sell refreshments during these events.

I am delighted your chosen charity, the Ross Action Bus, is booked to come already. I hope more local charities will get in touch to book a Sunday. If readers would like to take part please get in touch.

We have a Facebook page ‘BANDS IN PARK ROSS’ with lists of all bands playing this year, which include Brass, Silver, Big Band and Steel Pans. This year we introduce Ross Proms on Sunday, August 20th, from 2.30-9.30pm. It promises to be a music filled summer which also benefits charities.
