ON Sunday, October 29th at The Phoenix Theatre in Ross, BBC Introducing Hereford and Worcester will be holding their next big event - an open recording session for new artists in the area.
Since 2005, they have broadcast nearly 1,000 sessions, helping to showcase some of the area’s most talented musicians to a massive audience.
They have handpicked some of their favourite local artists to join them on stage at The Phoenix Theatre, artists that did not even know they were being considered.
BBC?Introducing said: “We hope this inspires people to keep sending in their music, because we really do listen to everything!”
Some of their recent highlights include Leominster’s “AKA George” at Glastonbury, Bromyard’s “Remi Harris” at the Montreal Jazz Festival and Hay-on-Wye’s “Cherryshoes” at T In The Park.
No tickets neccessary, admission is free and you can go anytime between 2pm and 6pm to have a listen.
