A Tale As Old As Time – Disney's Beauty and the Beast is one of the most popular and enchanting romantic stories ever told. Disney's multi-award winning musical Beauty and the Beast has been seen by over 25 million people - and now X-entricity is bringing this magical story to the stage, at the Larruperz Centre, Ross.

X-entricity members knew they were taking a risk when they set out to being this amazing show to Ross but they had not realised just what was at stake.

Jane Hewson, the producer told the Ross Gazette:?"This is the most expensive show we have ever done. We have booked a ten piece orchestra and had to hire all the costumes from a professional costumier."

She said:?"The costs have just mounted as we have gone along but once we had started and committed ourselves we had to go on. All we need now is the people of Ross and the surrounding area to back us and support us by buying tickets and coming to she show.

Everyone in­volved at X-entricity is determined to make it a success because if it is not the group will have nothing left.

And Jane added: "Don't just come along because you will be supporting local talented youngsters, although that is a good reason, this promises to be one of the best shows you will find for miles around."

And it is not just been costly in terms of money, the set has taken a team hours of work to create and producing the Beast's rose has been a considerable achievement.

In the story the Beast is given an enchanted rose, which will bloom until his 21st birthday. In order to break the spell, the Beast must learn to love another, and earn her love in return, before the last of the rose petals falls. If not, he will be doomed to remain a beast for all time.

This is definitely X-entricity's most lavish production yet, with an amazingly talented cast, and featuring all the favourite characters and songs from the original film.
