MADAM, I have just recovered from volunteering all weekend, at Herefordshire Camra's (campaign for real ale) Beer on the Wye beer and cider festival.

Between 19 and 20 thousand pints of beer, cider and perry were sold to 6119 visitors, another record breaker.

The festival charity this year was Hope Support Services, based in Ross. They were extremely professional and proactive in everything they did.

Anyone looking for a LOCAL charity to support, and a charity that would support you and your event, could do far worse than to choose Hope Support.

Their willing helpers even saved us a lot of volunteer time as they litter-picked while collecting donations. All in all a very successful weekend.
