The Brampton Abbotts Cake Club presented a cheque for £1,500 to two members of the Ross Action Committee, Rosemary Rigby (President) and Jill Morgan (Secretary), on Thursday, June 8th. The Cake Club raised the funds at their Tea Festival, which was held on Sunday, May 14th.

Lina King, a member of the Cake Club, told the Ross Gazette that the event had a fantastic response from the public, she estimates about 150 people attended the afternoon.

Rosemary Rigby commented that the £1,500 would give the charity a big boost, and she wanted to congratulate the Cake Club ladies for organising such a successful event.
