Many residents cannot fail to have noticed a large wheel which has been erected at Symonds Yat.

A post was made to the Ross-on-Wye Notice Board group on Facebook informing people that the wheel will be open for the school holidays. It will feature pods which will seat up to four people and those on the wheel will be able to enjoy the views of the spectacular Wye valley.

A Herefordshire Council spokesperson said: “The big wheel is the subject of an ongoing enforcement investigation by Herefordshire Council, which will determine whether or not the structure requires permission. Further action will be considered on the basis of an imminent site visit.”
