The Cracknell family who breed Holstein friesians at their farm at Kilcot, near Ross, not only had a significant birthday to celebrate this month, they were also awarded the coveted Master Breeder Award for the second time. In doing so they became only the third herd in the whole of the UK to win the award twice.

Theo Cracknell, who founded the herd 63 years ago was able to receive the award on his 82nd birthday giving cause for a double celebration.
