THIS week is National Breastfeeding Awareness week, and members of the Ross Breastfeeding Support Group were in Sainsbury's on Monday to spread the word of the benefits of breastfeeding your baby.

The group meets every Thursday at the Children's Centre at the Ryefield Centre, from 10am to 11.30am. The group is for mums and expectant mums who are: thinking about breastfeeding, want to breastfeed but feel unsure or are worried about feeding in public, just starting to breastfeed and need support, reassurance or information. The group is all about mum supporting each other. And they are keen to point out that Ross is a breast-feeding friendly town! Over 20 establishments will welcome you.
