The members of Bridstow Girlguiding are looking forward to the Ross-on-Wye Christmas Fayre on Sunday for a very special reason. They have been invited to switch on the lights on the Christmas tree in the Market Place.
Due to space restrictions not all the girls will be able to go into the Market House but Tessa, Rebecca, Charlotte L, Kenzie and Kitty will represent the group.
The lights will be switched on at 4.30pm after a full day of fun at the Fayre which starts at 11am. As well as at least 50 stalls selling all kinds of goodies which will be ideal as gifts, there will be several food stalls including the ever popular Beefy Boys. Three choirs will be entertaining the crowds, as well as a professional street entertainer who will perform magic tricks.
Father Christmas will be in his grotto in the Buckingham Suite at The Royal Hotel accompanied by lots of friends from Hope Support Services.
Characters from the pantomime, Cinderella, which is running at The Courtyard this year, will be visiting and meeting shoppers.
