For some January is a quiet month, but at Brighterkinds Ross Court residents and staff have been keen to keep busy.
Local author Hilary Orme recently visited to give an informative talk about becoming an author and introduced residents to her short stories, as well as answering questions about her links with Macmillan.
The Ross-on-Wye Reel Club, along with musicians Sarah and Mike, helped residents celebrate Burns Night.
The evening began with Jill James’ recital of the Selkirk Grace prior to a traditional haggis supper. This was then followed by a display of Scottish dances. Staff and residents were keen to take to the floor under the guidance of the performers late into the evening. Ross Court is very grateful to Hilary and the Ross Reel Club for being inspiring visitors.
