Hereford’s A Rule of Tum, has recently been awarded the best Sunday lunch at the 2017 Observer Food Monthly Awards.

The winners of the 2017 Observer Food Monthly Awards, supported by headline sponsor Marks & Spencer, were announced at a ceremony in London on Thursday, October 12th, 2017.

Dorian Kirk, Head Chef and Owner at A Rule of Tum, said: “Winning ‘Best Sunday Lunch’ means so much to our team. A national award like this celebrates everything that Herefordshire is about. It puts Hereford on the map and shines a light on our county which is doing some seriously great things. We take great pride in establishing trusting relationships with our suppliers, and want to continue growing our A Rule of Tum family, in building a community through good food.”

The awards, which are now in their 14th year, are voted for by both readers and a judging panel and champion the best producers, restaurants, and retailers in the UK. Observer columnist Jay Rayner and television personality and food writer, Nigella Lawson, co-hosted this year’s celebrations after Guardian News and Media editor-in-chief, Katharine Viner and Observer Food Monthly editor, Allan Jenkins, introduced the evening.
