Following on from its host of awards won in 2017, travel agent Miles Morgan Travel, is now one step closer to winning its first award of 2018 after being shortlisted for a national award.

The travel specialists are one of just five travel agents in the UK to have been shortlisted for the ’Top Escorted Touring and Adventure Agent’ award launched by trade magazine, Travel Trade Gazette (TTG) for 2018.

The brand-new category is scored on criteria such as; customer service, marketing, business growth and a team’s product knowledge, saw over 55 travel companies submit entries.

Voted for by holiday suppliers from across the UK, the awards celebrate the travel industry’s excellence in retailing and are widely considered as being one of the toughest in the business to win.

The winner will be announced at this year’s TTG Top 50 Awards which take place annually in Birmingham.

Managing director Miles Morgan said: "We’re absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist for one of the most prestigious awards in the travel industry.

"We’ve have an incredible team who work very hard to give fantastic customer experiences and value-for-money for our customers which is especially true with an escorted touring or adventure holiday.

"We’re really excited to see what happens in April," he added.

Miles Morgan Travel is proud to work with some of the UK’s biggest escorted touring and adventure specialists including G Adventures which urge holidaymakers to become more responsible when travelling and help sustain local businesses and regions.

These specialist companies are also chosen for their ‘price parity’ meaning customers are guaranteed to pay the same price for their holiday through the agent as you would by booking direct.

Miles said: "We’d like to thank all of our customers who continue to make our business thrive. It’s been lovely recently to see so many of our regular customers, as well as being introduced to some new faces too.

"We have already had a record-breaking start to 2018 and we’re excited to see what the rest of the year brings," he added.
