A?new?hand car wash has opened in Ross-on-Wye on Ashburton Road.

Ashburton Road Car Wash is run by Avni Duka, who has long term experience in car washing businesses, with two car washes in Hereford and one in Gloucester, which has been running for 12 years.

The car wash is open long hours, 8.30am - 6.30pm, seven days a week, with a variety of reasonably priced services and packages available for different sized vehicles.

Avni, who lives in Cheltenham, told the Ross Gazette:?“We are professionals and will take care of your car. We don’t use brushes that could scratch the car, we use our hands.”

There is also a seating area, with sofas and a kettle if they are cleaning the inside of your car too.

Avni said:?“You are welcome to sit down and read the newspaper, and help yourself to tea and coffee while you wait.”

Avni also added:?“You can leave your car here and go to Morrisons or Ross Garden Store, which is located opposite, and can come back and pick it up later.

“You can also drop it off at the start of the day, and pick it up at the end of the day after you’ve finished work. We have plenty of space here.”

The car wash is also offering a discount to trade companies that bring multiple cars to them, including taxi companies.

Avni said: “Also, if you bring this Ross Gazette newspaper article with you - we’ll give you 20% off a mini valet service.”

“We’ve been open a month and it has started really well. I’m very happy,” he added.
