October has been a busy month at the Orchard Trust in Lydbrook.

It costs a lot to feed all the animals so they are always grateful for donations.

It isn’t just us animals that benefit though; the Orchard Trust supports and provides services to lots of people.

The staff and friends of the Orchard Trust have been raising money all this year, as the charity is 30 years old, everything, from Zipwires to half marathons, barn dances and spending the night in the grounds of a haunted house.

Community fundraiser, Louise even ran the Cardiff Half Marathon for the Orchard Trust.

Visitors are always welcome at this friendly, accessible place and volunteers are also very welcome. For more information visit /www.orchard-trust.org.uk/learning-centre/smallholding/
