It has been a busy term so far for the pupils at Lea Primary School.
Eight members of Year 6 were invited to take part in a maths challenge afternoon at Hereford Cathedral School.
The children were required to solve various crypto challenges, which got progressively harder during the afternoon.
The final challenge was a two-step challenge; solving the code and then decoding the message before transposing again with a different code.
All the children worked very well in their groups and kept their motivation high, even when things became quite tricky.
