A group of Llangrove ladies, christened the Café Crew, recently ended a series of seven community cafés organised over the autumn and winter months, raising £2,298 for several charities.
Each café supported a different charity, including St Michael’s Hospice, the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Fund, British Heart Foundation and Alzheimer’s Research.
Bobby Woodcock, who organised the events would like to thank everyone involved, for not only producing homemade cakes at each event, but for their enthusiasm, and working tirelessly to ensure the venture was a success. The Café Crew would like to thank everyone who supported the cafes, which will return in July with their annual Big Tea in aid of St Michael’s Hospice.
