The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) hosted a drop in session at Ross-on-Wye Library on Friday, March 3rd, to speak to local people about how they can volunteer their time and efforts to help the life-saving charity.
Without the support of the army of volunteers, and the goodwill of the public, MAAC would not exist. The charity is always in need of volunteers to become a point of contact in the local area.
There are all sorts of volunteering opportunities, MAAC volunteers may give talks to local groups about how the air ambulance crew operate; they may attend various cheque presentations where local groups and societies fundraise for the charity; they can assist at local events, shows and fetes; or they may help with the distribution side of the charity. Whatever the volunteers do, their efforts are always greatly appreciated.
