In June 1990 the Larruperz Centre opened its doors for the first time to provide a welcome venue for community functions for the Ross area.

To celebrate this anniversary, the Ross and District Community Association, the organisation that runs the Centre, is planning a series of events for the month of June and these will be advertised in due course.

The Larruperz Community Theatre is pleased to be part of these celebrations and will present 'Gala Evenings' on June 10th and 11th featuring popular songs from the last 20 years and beyond.

The group is always on the lookout for new members for their productions. All are welcome no matter what experience of music or singing. If you are interested don't be put off just because you have little or no singing experience or can't read music. That's what rehearsals are for and they have an excellent new Musical Director, Tim Murray, who will encourage everyone to give their best.

Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays commencing on March 30th at 7.30pm at the Centre in Grammar School Close near Morrison's Supermarket. Just turn up on the night and see if you like it.
