The recent challenge put out by Mayor, Councillor Harry Bramer to beat his rowing time of 12 minutes and 36 seconds was soundly beaten by two young members of Ross Rowing Club on Sunday, November 18th.
The challenge was held during October, 2018 at Ross Health and Fitness Club and the winners of the male and female challenges were pleased to capture their success with Mayor Harry Bramer.
The men’s winner was Ben Clatworthy with a winning time of 6 minutes and 56 seconds . Ben, who is only 15 years of age, completed the challenge in half the Mayor’s time!
The ladies winner was Heidi Brodholt, with a winning time of 7 minutes and 41 seconds – Heidi who is 16 has recently competed at the Great Britain trials at Lincoln
